Active Participant….
Why we do it….
I sit, still. Exhaustion from a decade of kids scheduled activities that have melted me into my trusted living room chair where typically I'd be reflecting on all that occurred the hours, days, years that caused this sensation. Knowing years to come will exacerbate this earned badge of exhaustion, this acentric sense of accomplishment that can leave you drained and paralyzed with a "we did it" sigh knowing you will be in that chair, melted, feeling of relief and planning for the hours, weeks and months ahead. A sensation not realized or understood be those who are spectators and not active participants in life. We and those that know what it means to be a participant in living and how to manage within the limits of your capabilities and capacity and realize when its to much or not enough; the balance between stability and insanity. So, we arose from the chair in a Firm solid state hard and ready to thrust ourselves into life. Why?
We live in a world where experiences correlate to knowledge which can be transformed into perspective and allows for spiritual and intellectual growth of oneself.. We have the ability to create experience, allow for the development of knowledge and help drive a clear and pure perspective. It is our jobs as members of the "village".. and so, we decided to congregate with our village to raise, nurture, support encourage them all; its not about us but all. The village is our society that we are responsible for developing and the only way to do so is by participating to allow for knowledge and drive perspective. We own the responsibility of being experience creators. Armed with a PhD in "organized chaos" and how to balance the "thin sanity line" we set out on our experience creating journey knowing someone will win and loose, hearing cheering and yelling, engaging in banter and commiserating with and learning from our peers; other active life participants; reflecting on all our failures, challenges and success. We learn from and assist each other in shaping and forming the society, the village our families
Experience creators, advancing our PhD curriculum, sharing the world with our kids, making a better society, being part of the village and smiling for being lucky to be an active participant in live. It was a good game and my chair was waiting for me in the end and always will be.
